Gap year (академический год)
If I had an academic year, or as they say, a year between leaving school and going to university, I would be happy to have this opportunity.
During this period, I would have worked hard to prepare for admission: I would have been engaged with tutors, I would have been a volunteer, I would have read foreign literature. I could also get a part-time job and that would be good for me.
